so what is my problem? if i click in my HTC Explorer phone on button named HTC Sync, the phone starts to connect, but after some time it writes: could not find HTC Sync app in your pc.

if you are trying to use a windows tool in wine, there is no guarantee it will work without problems

if all you want to do is transfer files from and to the phone, most of us are using airdroid and firefox or chrome

it is a simple process that avoids to connect the phone to the machine, it doesn't let you do some specific tasks made with the sync tool but you can try it and see if it helps you or not

another solution is install that sync tool in a virtual machine and see if it works well or not

the last solution is dualboot linux and windows, at least for that windows should work  ;)   ;D
