DVD to HHD

Looking for a Program to copy DVDs to a HHD and play them back on a Laptop or Desktop at a different location

K3b ....  create image only ......  produces an ISO file which can be used to duplicate the DVD or played using the likes of VLC.

Lots of others in the repository ....  depending on your needs .....  file size, quality, all files or only some etc etc ....

brasero will create a iso, just as k3b

if it is a movie, you can open the iso with vlc and watch the movie

other types of dvd will retain structure unless it is copy protected, like games and similar stuff, some movies will give you problems too so you might need to rip the video to the hard disk and not the whole dvd
