There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

This is taken from my recliner in my living room. My "home office" if you will. I do have a proper desk in another room with an old XP machine, but I rarely use it, too far away from the kitchen and the TV :) Yep, I still have a 17" 4:3 Samsung that's so old that I can't remember when I bought it. I've been looking at widescreen monitors but I can't bring myself to spend the cash on one.

Don´t bother, my favorite monitor is still 4:3. Never understood as to why we were presented with these wide screens. I don´t see any advantage in these things. (Best guess: Cheaper to produce = higher margin)  :P

The only advantage to a widescreen that I can see is that many websites have gone to 16:9 so there is the left-right scrolling problem. I hate to scroll left-right.

There is a second reason why a 24-inch wide screen is good.

It is a great size for viewing some of God's great creations........ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Besides that, big widescreen monitors are a blessing when you work with several documents at a time, read a document or search images in the web and write a presentation is easier.

any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

Been meaning to get one of those "new fangled" digital camers. I would need to buy a Bluetooth adapter for my 'puter to download pics from my phone. not seeing that happening anytime soon.
Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.

Well, if I look at a bunch of my collection such "creations" on a wide screen it seems they all live in McDo those days....... Quite expanded....  ;D
