Yes, I tried those. Barely recognizable image of myself. I decided that since the camera was real cheap and about the same cost as driving to town to exchange it I'd take it apart and see if I could shim the lens. Discovered the mount was too complicated to be a fixed position lens, so took a pliers to it to see if a little more force would rotate it. Yep, camera will now focus. Mechanism was jammed stuck, as shipped from the distributor. Thanks for the help!
