Hello. I discovered earlier that the system I am using (installed from a remaster) showed US English in PCC > System > Manage localization. I made the change I wanted and checked the system from which the remaster was made, expecting to find the same error there.
That system showed the correct setting so it seems that mylivecd does NOT retain the setting as stated in
this post.
