--SOLUCIONADO-- Se pierde el monitor al cargar el LiveCD

Hola a todos,

He descargado la imagen del DVD y la del CD LXDE, el caso que no consigo arrancar, ya que con ambos empieza a cargar el sistema y llegados casi al final el monitor pierde la señal del ordenador, me aparece el mensaje 'SIN SEÑAL', así que llego a ver la pantalla donde me pide el usuario y la contraseña.

Es un P-IV con una ATI RAGE FURY 128 y un monitor LED de LG, al principio, en las opciones de arranque, le dejo una resolucion de 800x600, he probado con la opción de drivers en 'SI' y en 'NO'. Pero todo es inutil, cuando esta a punto de terminar la carga el monitor se va a dormir.

¿Que se os ocurre que puedo hacer? no puedo ni ver la consola.

If i read right you can start the Monitor with 800x600.
Here you can open a terminal (lxterminal) and copy'n'paste the command from top.

Last night I try all the boot modes from de DVD KDE-Full Monty (Live CD, Live CD - No Bootsplahs, Video Safe Mode - FBDEV and Safe Boot), but always the same, at the end the monitor go to sleep, so I can´t see the steps where ask for the country keyboard, users or everything. Of course, I can´t open the consola mode.

The only thing I never tried it's to start in consola mode. ¿But what will I can to do? I don't know nothing about Linux. I'm interesting to install it because I'm starting to learn it.

Ayer por la noche intente todos los modos de arranque del DVD KDE-Full Monty (Live CD, Live CD - No Bootsplahs, Video Safe Mode - FBDEV y Safe Boot), pero siempre igual, al final el monitor se va a dormir, por lo que no puedo ver los pasos donde piden los usuarios, idioma del teclado, o cualquier otra cosa. Por supuesto, no puedo abrir el modo de consola.

La única cosa que nunca he probado es iniciar en modo Consola. ¿Pero qué puedo hacer? No sé nada acerca de Linux. Quiero instalarlo porque estoy empezando un curso para aprender.

Hola,

for console, you need the root passwort.

root = root
guest = guest

Choose console and hit enter key...

You get at last this



Here type root <enter>
type password root <enter>

Now it's time to start XFdrake
Type XFdrake <enter>

You get follow




To navigate you need the cursor keys...




You see on my images your card, if nothing working try vesa driver this should work for your video card.

After you have choose your driver and set it with ok, type exit to close root session.
Now you need the guest session.
Type guest <enter>
type password for guest, it is guest <enter>
and now startx to start the xserver.

µT6: No es una tortura, es una imposición. Es un equipo de sobremesa bastante antiguo y la placa no tiene salida de video, solo dispongo de la conexión de la tarjeta de video que es una VGA, sin ningún convertidor.

Voy a intentar hacer lo que dice Daniel y si no funciona intentaré cambiar la placa base por otra que soporte el harware que tengo (micro, ram, hdd, etc.) pero que tenga video integrado y que no sea necesario tarjeta gráfica.
