<Solved>Kmail2 picking up old emails

Hi ,
I am leaving emails on my isp server since kmail2 has self destructived on many occasions.
However,now kmail2 keeps bring in the old email left on the server.
How can I stop this happening?

Have you tried moving the old messages to separate folders on the ISP's server, based on who sent them? That's what I do. As long as they are not in the inbox they shouldn't get picked up again locally. In some online mailboxes I have saved mail going back to 1998.
