Gwenview plugins
« on: December 09, 2012, 05:05:22 PM »
Gwenview plugins have not worked for about 2 months now. This is related to Digikam plugins and the KDE 4.9.2 upgrade which are supposed to have been fixed. A month ago I was told to expect a short wait but it is now becoming a rather long wait.

I see elsewhere that a new version of Gwenview is coming with KDE 4.10 but i saw no date for that.

I know patience is a virtue but.....

I'm using KDE 4.9.2 & all of my Gwenview plugins are working fine. You need to install: kipi-plugins, kipi-plugins-libs & libkipi. I don't have Digikam installed, but I just ticked the box to install it via Synaptic & it didn't give me any unresolved dependency errors.
