Teamviewer version
« on: December 09, 2012, 05:20:45 PM »
When signing in to TeamViewer I now get the message "Your TeamViewer client isn't compatible with your account. Please update your client. It's not required to update to TeamViewer 8, it's sufficient to update to the latest version within Teamviewer 4,5,6 or 7"

I am running TV 7.0.9360. The latest version is 7.0.9377 which was released 30th October and is 'an important security release'. TeamViewer 8 was released on 30th November.

On the TeamViewer site it states "On PCLinuxOS, TeamViewer can be installed from the repository. The package is provided by the PCLinuxOS team."

When can we expect to have a useable TeamViewer version in the repos?

Thanks JohnW

First link produces "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you. "
Second link works ok.

I hope it appears soon as I use TV a lot while out and about and also to assist distant friends with problems. Might have to dig out the old windows laptop in the meantime.

I believe you need at least 10 posts to access this board...
