Possibly ELO's best album, Time:

I agree.

The entire album in my opinion, has been largely overlooked.

The "foresight" that Jeff Lynne had while creating this album was nothing short of genius.

(Few know that Jeff Lynne was basically the soul creator of everything ELO did)

A side note,, - the first time I heard this album I was,, how should I say... in an enhanced state.  ;D

Needless to point out, it had an impact.

It will always be one of my top ten favorite albums of all "time".  LOL

If anyone has the time, listen to the entire thing just as rm has posted it.

It's a beautiful work of contemporary conceptional art.

Thanks rm!

While you listen, give this a read about Jeff Lynne. -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Lynne

I hate to post again but the "Full Album" concept got to me.

Anyone that grew up in America during the late 50's or early 60's will surely relate to this concept album by Donald Fagen.

Trust me, at the time we were all scared to death.

(We were teaching 4th graders how to "Duck And Cover") as if "kindling" would protect one from a fire ball the size of Texas!

This album is about America and what we were doing in the 50's.

- listening to the radio and dreaming about the future... The album quite accurately captures the dreams and fears of the time.
