missing iso... can't download! :(

Hi guys,

I tried to download kde iso but it is missing from heatnet, well there is a 35M iso but I suposed it is an error. There is no mini iso too, only kde-64 and lxde iso are available.
Is there anything with the isos?

you are right, the isos are not there on heanet

they should be on other repos unless we are in the middle of a major update

Apparently a new ISO was being uploaded but has stopped .......  2012.12

at the moment it says 0 kb in ibiblio, no md5 yet and no minime or md5 minime either

The ibiblio servers are experiencing space problems, as in lack thereof. At the moment nothing we are trying to upload will do so. In the meantime, normal syncing of the mirrors is carrying this problem to the mirrors as well.

Guess that's why also the repositories updates have issues last few weeks.

guys thanks for your replies, but the main reason I opened the topic was because of the broken links in the site, that is bad for new visitors, I think the links should point for an alternative iso or, like the xfce page, having a message saying the links are off for now.

The Torrents seem to be broken as well.  They result in a broken file.

I just downloaded 2012.12 using one of the torrent links that DeBaas has kindly posted on the forum - try link below

I used KTorrent and got a download speed of apprx 2.5MB

Just checked, all .iso's running without any problem on my Linux box.
(and seeding with ktorrent)

P.S. Don't use the Linuxtracker torrents anymore (except FM)
it's confusing our users.

I tried twice and got broken files each time.  The mirrors still are not working.  This must be putting off potential new users who visit the site.

Run memtest86 on your computer to check for memory errors. I used the links posted on the main site for all five of the latest release ISO images, and all five md5sums check out as being correct. I am also currently seeding all five images. Current stats show;

I downloaded the 2nd torrent, downloaded the iso again, compared it with my existing iso, burned it and installed on my testbox. No problems at all.
May I, the same as O-P, suggest there is a problem on your site ?

We know about the problem. There's nothing that can be done that we are not already doing. Kicking at us won't correct ibiblio's problem. Try accepting what you've been told about this. (see reply #4) Try being patient while we work on creating a solution.
