HP Photosmart C7280 all in one - can't configure scanner

Since my last upgrade, Xsane reports no devices available. I had this working last year.

Under the control centre, when I try to install the scanner and choose the HP all-in-one option, I get: 

"The Hewlett-Packard Most HP OfficeJet, LaserJet, and PSC (Printer/Scanner/Copier) multi-function peripherals must be configured by system-config-printer.
You can launch system-config-printer from the PCLinuxOS Control Center in Hardware section."

But nothing I try offers a scanner option.

Have searched the forums  and tried a few suggestions, but no success.

The printer/scanner is wirelessly connected to the router.

Anyone got one working?

For all HP 3-in-1 devices I have used (or read about) installing the printer automatically installs the scanner portion and there is no specific scanner set up needed in PCC.

Hi dewin,

You are probably ok, assuming it is printing.

Application Launcher (icon bottom left) > More Applications > Printing > HP Device Manager
(Ensure the printer is on, icon lower right in System Tray)
HP Device Manager > Actions > Scan

Job done? (assume sane is automatically installed)
