From Tunlr web site

Stream video or music, whenever and wherever you want

Do you want to stream video or audio from U.S.-based on-demand Internet streaming media providers but can't get in on the fun because you're living outside the U.S.? Fear not, you have come to the right place. Tunlr lets you stream content from sites like Hulu, MTV, CBS, ABC, Pandora and more to your Mac or PC. Want to watch HuluPlus on your iPad, AppleTV or XBox 360 even though you're not in the U.S.? Tunlr lets you do this.

t’s absolutely free

That's right. Tunlr won't cost you a dime! Our service is absolutely free and without any limitations. We also have a strict "no advertisment" policy.

Easy to setup

There's no software to install. You don't need to create an account with us. No password to remember. Setting up Tunlr is a breeze and you can start watching video or listening to music instantly.

Streaming in HD quality

Thanks to Tunlr you will be streaming data in the best quality available. Since we don't route multimedia content over an intermediary network, only the speed of your internet connection is the limiting factor.

What about privacy?

If you choose to use our free service, only a tiny amount of your internet traffic is routed through our network. Most of that data is securely encrypted. Even if we wanted to, we wouldn’t be able to decode it. We don’t save any personal information and we don’t mine any data. Since we don’t save any personal information, there’s nothing to be shared with or sold to third parties. If that’s not enough to convince you – don’t use our service, it’s as simple as that.

Why you shouldn’t set your DNS permanently to Tunlr

For speed, stability, privacy and security reasons we do not recommend to permanently set your computer’s or router’s DNS addresses to Tunlr. Setting the DNS permanently to Tunlr also puts a heavy strain on Tunlr’s network infrastructure. In order to render the permanent use of our DNS less attractive, we’re artificially delaying responses to DNS queries.

What this means is that your Internet surfing experience will be a lot slower than if you’d just use your Internet service provider’s DNS. However, your ability to download/stream audio or video content is not affected by this delay. To sum it up: do not use our DNS servers for day to day web surfing.

Please see the following links for more ideas about how to temporarily use our DNS servers.

Sounds too good to be true  :o

Do I need to change my DNS back and forth each time I connect?
I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

I would say that changing the DNS every time you wanted access would be a turn-off.

Using the Media Hint plug-in for Firefox or Chromium appears to be just as good and without the hassle of changing DNS settings.
