in big cities you just hate cars, spend 4 hours per day sitting on a bus or a car is horrible
in rural areas or in small towns/cities the car is a must have, like water and food

The use of public transport depends on it's quality, where I live now is very bad and recently is even dangerous in some areas so we have two vehicles and it takes 10 or 15 minutes at most to go from one point to another in this city.
I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

No city and no traffic is even better - we moved 15,000 miles and into the hills where the water Buffalo roam and once and a while an elephant.

Ok, I must be a bad-ass.

I will always pick my own ride... regardless what it costs me.
I worked in downtown Boston for years and the only problem with driving ones own car to work was it not being there when you get off work.  I rode the bus to the Redline and back to go home.  Most cars in town left the windows open and had signs on the dash that said sorry - radio is already stolen - car has no gas.

I'll give you that.

My city is only 235,000 at this present time.  I think it is big enough, don't want it any bigger.

Sad thing is.... my province seems to be the hottest place in Canada for finding work... damn it.
One of the few things I've learnt as growing older.  Is to choose your battles.. but never loose sight of the war..!
