Is there any current application or command-line adjustment to the kernel that can replicate the results eee-control gave over fan control specifically on an EeePC 701?
eee-control worked well but is now obsolete, and no substitute has appeared that looks like doing similar things except for Jupiter, if it is still alive(?) Perhaps.
Other specialised Eeep distro's have fan control as a feature and I would like to replicate that in my own favourite distro; LXDE.
