Just was going to add Abiword to a new MiniMe install. When I hit apply in Synaptic, I noticed the size. It was 80 MB. I never realized it took that much space. Lots of other companion pieces are part of the download. Just surprised me that it was that large.
There is a 5th dimension,beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity,between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.This is the dimension of imagination.It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

Using KDE 4.9.2

I opened Synaptic and looked at my system for you Joe and this is what I see - mebbe I have some dependencies already installed?


PCLinuxOS 32bit KDE 4.10.1; kernel-3.4.11-pclos1.bfs & 64bit 3.2.18bfs; NVidia GeForce 8400GS 1GB 310.19 driver

Sony Vaio SVE1513A4ESI Laptop, Intel Core i5, 2.6GHz, 6GB RAM, 750GB, 15.6" Intel HD Graphics 4000

That is possible menotu. Did you install it on a fresh MiniMe?
I had a lot more dependencies listed so as you said a lot of yours were probably already installed.
Still a little large. I will load it anyway because I like it.
