I don't "regret" that marriage.
It's 7 year run taught me a bunch about what it means to be happy.

Rudge but I know first hand what he is talking about, I live something similar.
In my experience it can happen, doesn't feel the same but is very good, at some point you start to believe the other was just a needed experience to have the present relationship.
It seems to me that repeated failures (was my case) are because I was expecting to feel the same thing (that was what I understood by love) and just didn't happen, after several experiences I was ready to live alone and found my present wife, 22 years of marriage and counting
We're just returning with the kids from having breakfast in a new place (big quesadillas with meat, migadas dish size) where all was delicious and saw your post, I know it was not addressed to me but couldn't refrain.
