« on: December 01, 2012, 07:29:00 PM »
I'm sure ElCuervo remembers this, an excellent educational devise if you don't know it your roots aren't from México

I think other Latin American Countries share this tradition, if it is your case raise your hand    ;D   ;D

 ;D ;D ;D

That's not just Mexican or Latin American culture. I think it's fairly universal, just with varying degrees of success.  :D

So you don't beat the children, you just throw sandals at them? Actually that is more humane.

If the mother was at the kitchen it could be dangerous, a ladle (I think that is the word) hits harder as my wife can testify; a fork is dangerous too since it can make you bleed, or so says one of my brothers in law  ;D

Yep, you're not Mexican  :)  they are not women at that moment they evolved into mothers, not the same as any gamer can tell you

I miss those times.... a lot

Shoes ? no. Wooden spoons? yes. ;D

I would link to a vid by a Edward Murphy about "shoe throwing mothers" but there are too many uses of a word that start with "F" ;D ;D
Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.

My mother taught me at  an early age that throwing things is a very convincing argument, and more so if whatever you throw  breaks. I've put my mother's teaching to good use in later life when working with actors.

When throwing things at actors you don't really want to hit them as that might be quite costly; you just want to smash something so close to them that they think you wanted to hit them. The effect is immediate.

In my mother's case I just started to wonder why she never threw a Flora Danica plate and why the plates she actually threw at me were usually a bit chipped. But then I understood!

Actors never think about things like that. They aren't that clever.
