The truth may hurt, but lies cause damage.

What about: “Lying, the telling of beautiful untrue things, is the proper aim of Art.” (Oscar Wilde)

Or: "A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal." (Also Wilde, of course)

All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.

You're being cryptic, Rich ... but hey, I'm glad for this post. So you're staying ... at least for a longer while? Very good!

It would be like leaving home because a bad neighbor or bully moved in next door.
It is tougher though when the bully has power.

That's not the joechimp I've gotten to know ... who wouldn't think twice of wrestling with a croc ... or mooning his baritone for the ladies. Rich we are all the same. The differences are only evident on one's desire to share or greed, to work harder not for one's self but for the good of all or be lazy, to share laughter with those who matters to you or pull everyone's mood down because you're feeling low ... I'm sure you get where that's going. We're a family here ... and you, we are buddies. I don't doubt that.

Heck, I've offended Rudge a few times, and I know (we'll dissect assumption later) he's forgiven me. I don't think it will be the same if I wasn't me but I'm pretty sure he'd just ignore me for the rest of his life (I plan to live longer ;)).

My point is Rudge is my friend, and I am deeply grateful for that. In our patch of green pasture in the Linux landscape, be assured that you at least have Rudge and me to count. So don't be another victim of cyber-bullying cuz you're not. Long time ago, we had a discussion in this very same forum about the need for an IGNORE button. ;D

Peace out, dude. Just so you know, I'm eager to go back and was already up at 4AM. Haven't had my cup of coffee ... and best of all, not a thing has gone wrong yet. ;D

I hate just doing the "+1" thing,, but I would be an idiot if I didn't do it in this case so,,, "+1"  ;) ;D ;D

P.S. I have said it before Archie. For you to offend me, I would first have to care what you think. ;) LOL

There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

Often truth is individual and there's almost no general truth (for all people).

We are not telling you, men, to believe in our truth.
We'd just like to share and ask, may be :)

Discovering the new point of view (may say a new truth) is very interesting part. Of the life.

The truth is the reality of things.  The truth does not change, but our perception of it does because our perception is often flawed.  So, in the end, I agree with you about the need to keep an open mind. ;)
