On my international US keyboard µ is right-win > m > u
Standard (PC)Linux(OS) behaviour.
Edit:
A few second ago I found my Vaio has no right-win, I changed the settings for my keyboard (advanced) from right to left win.

Interesting.  My laptop is an old IBM ThinkPad R51 and it does not have any Win key.
Turn off your computer and do something useful.

That is when my wife sees me eating one - it can be a bit draconian at times.  Lucky for me - she has to sleep.

about the micro symbol, yes, this is my new account, same old T6

the micro symbol can be done by pressing alt general key plus the letter m
