<Solved>kmail import
« on: November 25, 2012, 03:31:17 PM »
Hi to all,
Is there a way to determine if an email does have content?
I have been importing emails but some of them seem to be empty. Headers but nothing inside.
This has happened on kmail1 and kmail2.
Gezza
addem:
I have haved the emails in my debian folder in kmail2 ad produced a folder called debian-1.
Most files in debian-1 have no content.
Do any of these problems relate to 2012.08 and the kmail system? or just kmail and its underlying system?
It does appear that a lot of the files that I have imported, all now have no contents.
Your thoughts an this subject gratefully received.

Check in the filesystem .local/share/local-mail.... and look into the subfolders there to see the mail files. They should show up as plain text files. You can even open them in a text editor. Do they show content? If not, then kmail has deleted the content. Otherwise, I have no answer.
