I didn't have any luck downloading videos with the firefox extension I used to use and I found a simple way to do it--just insert the word "kiss" (without the quotation marks) in front of youtube in the url. For example:
http://www.youtube.com /watch?v=cmVXYOJzAJM (I had to insert a couple of spaces so it wouldn't hotlink)
is the url for a Dan Fogelberg song called
Same Old Lang Syne . If I insert the word kiss in front of the youtube in the url, like so:
http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=cmVXYOJzAJM it will take you to a page where you can download the video. Pretty nifty I think. But on that page they advertise VDownloader and I wondered if anyone here had any experience with it. I know that you can do a bash script to do the same thing (if you understood them well enough that is, which I don't). Right now this is the most simple method I have found but I am always looking for the best/easiest way to do stuff like that. Thanks.
