Anyone who read my thread knows that I broke no rules that haven't been broken a bunch of times already in this thread. DO you see this thread going anywhere. I think not.

The context in which I dared to refer to a deity was in a Thanksgiving thread remembering those I lost in the past year and to all my friends here in the forum and to Bill Reynolds to get well soon and for what he created here. It was NOT an egregious disrespect for the rules.

I feel like I am made out to be a constant rule breaker here. I respect this forum. If I had unintentionally done something wrong then I should have been notified of that. Not arbitrarily have my thread deleted.

Am I PI**ED off . You bet I am.

Welcome...... ;)

the bathroom, and the dining room."

I have said things i immediately wished i had not on this forum and was fixed by a mod.
I am sure a PM from the mods to the perpetrator of any offending thread first before any action is taken is the better way to go,the mod and the thread starter can then chat in private and hopefully come to an agreement without any animosity on both parts.

You can't tell the mods what or/and how to do ;D :-[

That is the question - to mod or not to mod.
But this isn't supposed to be asked by us or me :D  ;).

But the admins are a different cup of tee :)

Notify people and ask them to remove the thread/post could be a better, more adult approach

The three strikes rule could be applied for us repeated offenders  :)
I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

Yes, as we all here are adult people and have our responsibility on our words.

I understand what you are saying but sometimes i post thinking 'well that's ok' .We all have our own views so that is why i suggested a private conversation between admins and ourselves when something controversial crops up in the message board.

There are very good reasons why the no religious/political discussions rule was put into effect. No, I won't go into them, but I have just read this thread and see glaring examples of why it should not be done.
So, I'm faced with making a decision --- send the thread to the twilight zone / remove the offending posts / lock the thread.
I am choosing to lock this thread. I will leave it to be read. If you do not see any post that violates the rule, reread and if you still do not, PM me. I'll point one or more out to you.
