Autohiding the Taskbar

Okay, so I used to be able to figure this out just fine.  However, with the Full Monty desktop (2012.9) version it doesn't seem to be as intuitive (to me).  The best answer I've been able to find in the forums is as follows:

1.  right click on any unused portion of the desktop. In the box choose "Unlock Widgets.
2. Click on the cashew at the right end of the taskbar.
3. Click on More settings.
4. Click on auto hide.
5. click on the desktop again as in step 1 and now choose "Lock Widgets"

However, I don't see a "More" settings anywhere.  If I right click, all I see is "Add Panel" and "Lock Widgets".  If I'm supposed to left click, I have no idea where to do that.  I've even looked under "Smooth Tasks Settings" by right-clicking on the task bar in hopes that I could find it there, but to no avail.  Sorry if this is a stupid question and staring me right in the face!

Not seeing Panel Settings ?

On mine I just right click on the panel cashew and choose Panel Settings and from there it should show More Settings should be one of the options

Edit - On rare occasions I have noticed that  Unlock Widgets needs to be done a couple of times

Lock > Unlock

Unlock > lock

depending on current status

Also if you've updated any KDE stuff a desktop restart may be needed

You can also right click on the panel.
Then Panel Options -> Panel Settings -> More Settings.

Might this have something to do with me using the Full Monty desktop setup?  I see the screen shot you have (agmg) is not the same as the Full Monty view.  I don't see "Panel Settings" anywhere when I right-click on the panel, just "Add Panel" and "Lock Widgets".

Which section would you recommend and how do I go about moving it?  Or is that something only a moderator can do?

Only a moderator can move your thread.

Wait until another FM user might be able to help you or pinoc (the creator of FM) sees this (he is a moderator also so he will move it at will).

One thing I have noticed that is different about the task bar is that it seems to be immovable.  If I click Panel Options -> Add Panel -> Default Panel, it puts what I would consider a normal task bar at the top of the screen.  I can then access Panel Options from there and select auto-hide.  However, the auto-hide is only for the new default panel I just added.  The task bar at the bottom seems to be something quite different than other panels for some reason.

This is definitely a Full Monty thing, I just don't know how to proceed with this.  I also noticed if I run a game in Dosbox (Master of Magic in this example) and exit out, the task bar becomes much shorter horizontally and I cannot figure out how to expand it back out.  That's another issue I suppose, and also related to Full Monty desktop.  Hopefully all of this is quite simple to fix and I will feel stupid not having been able to figure it out on my own!  :-)
