Desktop Screens
« on: November 21, 2012, 05:59:27 PM »
Hi all !!  I installed Full Monty which I am liking very much. However, I  do not like so much the six screens I see when I logon as me - a user - I tried using the Full Monty switcher by saying "Yes" to default KDE layout  but I still get the six screens. I tried logging on as root which does NOT get the six screens but just one very CLEAN screen which I prefer.

How do I set that option for myself  when I logon as me - a user? I much rather see one screen and getting to the applications via the "K" Application Launcher.

Thank you.

Open Configure Your Desktop. Go to Workspace Appearance and Behavior > Workspace Behavior > Virtual Desktops. Change Number of desktops: from 6 to how many you would like. If you like root's, perhaps 2 would be a sufficient for you.
