Terry - Thanks for posting the patch. It worked like a charm on my Lenovo G550 with Broadcom BCM4312 wireless adapter.

Thanks for the patch TerryN. I was beginning to think I had screwed something up again. Works like a charm on this old Toshiba laptop.

Just discovered this thread  - applied the patch and I am pleased to
announce that it worked for me also - Compaq Praserio CQ61 laptop

Trying to install it conflicts with my at present installed version.

As root:  rpm -Uvh https://dl.dropbox.com/u/62125185/libdrakx-net-0.87-13_terryn_2012.noarch.rpm

Note the -U. It sounds like you were doing rpm -i

I applied the patched draknet the day it was posted but my network issued persisted.
I found dirty connections at my network switch was at fault. Cleaned cable connections & all is good.
