You could dual boot I suppose but that would mean deliberately leaving one OS to use another to watch TV .....  not something that would suit MY needs, but yours might be different ....

Glad to read it did work properly, even though for a short time.

Maybe something was not working as it should which brought down the OS ......  I have no idea what that might be  :D

hmmm... if this is final solution, i think ill do that dual boot... but not now, thinking about install windows os will make my PcLos need to reinstall... (after surf from google about dual boot= windows 1st install then linux :( ) I dont want my up to date PcLos back to the old PcLos (had to wait 2day to update all in repo because my slow conection  :-[ ), unless there a guide to backup all apl & data such as image or something like that, then restore it after fresh install on pclos...

lol just one usb tv tuner make some big question/problem   ::)

it is not necessary to reinstall after a Win install .....  all is needed is to replace the Win boot loader in the MBR with Grub again .....  a fairly simple procedure ......  providing of course the space is there for the Win install .....

It would be easier to replace the TV dongle with a supported one IMO  ;)

hmmm since i never done like that dual boot... a little confirmation then... replace the Win boot loader in the MBR with Grub is it like using pclos source (from cd/flashdisk) then go to PCC >> boot >> setup boot system then continue like that ?? or im wrong with this method and there other guide for this ?
well It would be easier to replace the TV dongle with a supported one if i have enough $$ (since im still not working) lol...
