The ReadME says this .......

Quote
The kdewebdev package contains applications which are useful for web
development. They are runtime dependencies of Quanta Plus, and it is
highly recommended that you install them.

The extra applications are:

Kommander: a GUI script builder and executor tool. Needed for some Quanta functionality.
KFileReplace: powerful search and replace in multiple files
KImageMapEditor: image map editor
KLinkStatus: link checker

Be sure to read the README files in each application's directory.

There is no sign of a   kdewebdev  executable anywhere on this system .....  apparently contrary to what the 'Provided Packages' indicates in Synaptic.

Kdewebdev is a meta-package which installs the following packages:

kimagemapeditor
klinkstatus
kfilereplace
kommander

It has no files of it's own (other than a README), it's purpose is to provide a convenient way to install a group of related packages.  Maybe the "description" needs to be re-worded to make that clear  :).

Yeap, the summary description had not been changed and goes all the way back to pre-4.6.5. I'll make a note and make sure the description is updated as well. BTW, do the applications work? I can't remember any reports from Testing re kdewebdev.
