yep, good catch. AdobeReader-plugin is outdated now and will be removed from the repo. The uptodate version of the plugin is already provided in the AdobeReader_enu-9.5.1-1pclos.i586rpm.

Is there something amiss with the package list for this? I ask because, using a local repo synced with either ibiblio or HEAnet, AdobeReader_enu-9.5.1-1pclos.i586rpm is visible in the nonfree directory, but is not shown in Synaptic. I have deleted and reinstalled the base folder, in case there was corruption there, and have done the same with the plugin itself. Still no joy. However, the package will install from the command line outside Synaptic. Had a quick look at the pkglist.nonfree.bz2 file in the base directory, and can't see AdobeReader listed.

Yes there appears to be something wrong.

Although the renamed Adobe package is in the repo, it is not included in the list of available packages.

Base package needs to be rebuilt maybe?
