One theory is that increased global temperatures will turn off the Gulf Stream, causing Western Europe (and especially the islands surrounded by the nice warm water) to freeze.

higher temperature  = climate change
less rain = climate change
more rain = climate change
earthquakes = climate change
freezing in W Europe = climate change
more storms, fewer storms = climate change
As carbon taxes and carbon offsets benefit banks, hardly a surprise that banks propagandize climate change.

Climate change is not a question, and the only propaganda about it comes from denialists funded by the oil industry.  In a strange twist, some of these same denialists are the same "experts" that the tobacco industry used when they were arguing before congress that their product was safe.

To whom it may concern:
I receive no funding from the oil industry.
(I have shares in a bank  - oops!)
I do no deny that the Antarctic ice cover is growing. This,  no doubt, is due to my not being taxed enough.

Good luck with denialism - it won't be possible for long.

I'm in Manila at the moment ... and I'm glad I'll be leaving soon to go back to China. Anyway, the country suffers a lot ... and to add to that ...

I keep hearing that it is increased carbon dioxide that is one of the major causes of this warming.  Let's ban people from becoming vegetarians, thus there will be more plants.  With more plants, the CO2 will be consumed and converted into oxygen.  Problem solved.
