Wireless keyboard not working in kernel-3
« on: November 19, 2012, 10:17:04 AM »
I am currently using an Adesso WKB-3000UB wireless keyboard on KDE, see HTPC specs below.  When booted into kernel-2.6.38.8-pclos3.pae.bfs, it works without issue.  However when I boot into kernel-3.2.18-pclos2.pae.bfs, it does not work.  The hardware is functional as the light indicating a connection between the keyboard and the usb device is working.

This is my $ lsusb command output:
Quote
[nixer@HTPC ~]$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05e3:0716 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB 2.0 Multislot Card Reader/Writer
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 1241:f767 Belkin

It appears that it is recognized as a "Belkin".
The $ lsusb output is the same for both kernels.  I double checked.

I do not know what to try to figure out what is happening here, so I am asking for help.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get this keyboard/mouse working?
