After reading iddlly's post, I'm kinda hoping I get one of those "Windows/MS" phone calls. 
I see Quickbooks at work. At home I run VirtualBox to backup my QB data. I run t when needed. No problems.
Australian Federal Police caught buggers, or closed down the shop in India.
We've been getting them for years, the phone calls. My Son would just scream and hang up, he loved those calls. I like
iddly piss farted around with them, " I use Linnex", "You use Linux ?" ,"I use Linnex." ... "so you work for MS do you, hmmm. What Department ?"
"If I knew your phone number I'd give it to the Police", when I was feeling grumpy.
It was more shut down through people complaining about Microsoft ringing at 6.00 PM (Dinner Time) than the few people like my dear OLD Mum, who let the hacker take over her machine.
There's a law against Companies ringing at Dinner time here in Aus, you can be taken of all marketing lists by making a call. Charities can still ring however.
