I used task meta pkg to install xfce alongwith kde. Kdm somehow couldn't detect xfce, but was able to install slim and be able to choose xfce/kde on startup.
Facing few issues though -
1. Even though i've some themes installed (murrine, nodoka) and i try to choose them, it uses default kde oxygen settings. Tried few options but none worked.
2. After i installed gnome-mount if i try to mount other partitions it requires two clicks to open the partition. On the first click it just mounts but doesn't open and shows a busy cursor. Have to click one more time to open.
3. While booting up, I'm getting "Cannot open file delete" error, it kind of hangs up in that message and takes a while before it starts booting again. Checked fstab and grub entry and ive the right partition reference there.
On a side note xfce works like a charm, just uses 68 mb ram on boot up, lowest i've seen in any distro so far, amazing!!
Are we going to have a 64 bit iso for xfce in near future? Thinking if i should remove kde and just have xfce.
Appreciate if anyone can advise on the above issues.
Thanks.
