(SOLVED)Faulty sound, no sound from skype now no sound from web browser

I had this problem on my lxde install but I replaced it with Phoenix in the hope it would sort itself out but, I have no sound in skype. I have pulse installed and when I start skype first, I get sound, then I get no sound in my browser, what is going on?!

Who knows what is going on? .......  only you have details which could help find the cause, but you have not provided any 

How about first telling us what hardware is present?  Particularly any audio hardware, including video card with audio over HDMI .....

You have given no indication what you have tried ..... providing such info might mean we don't have a guessing match.

For instance, have you used PulseAudio Volume Control?

I tried installing pulse audio, I installed pavucontrol, and I tried that asound for pulse and it gives skype sound but not flash plugin. My soundcard is intel.

Provides details of what you did .....  including copies of the contents of files edited or created.

So you have sound working in Skype .....  so that is off the problem list?

Now the only sound problem is with flash videos in a browser?

What browser?

Is it problematic in all browsers?

All I needed was to update, everything works now.
