SOLVED Latest upgrade wants to remove most of xfce

It lists removal of most of xfce packages to be upgraded and only a few replaced, thus eliminating functional xfce. This was from a couple of days ago. No changes on reload since then.

After yesterdays upgrade this problem is no longer relevant. A few non-essential xfce packages were removed, but all upgraded.
