Once, when I was looking for a house in a new neighborhood, I did the same thing in a newly paved driveway.

In my defense, it was not marked and it was 10:00 at night.

I had little choice but to back out and drive away as I didn't know who to contact.

I am sure the developer was quite upset about the incident because the driveway probably had time to dry over night.

I also bet he clearly marked newly paved driveways from that time on.

this is what people do when they crash into anything on the street, they try to avoid it but since they are looking a it, they end crashing with it
