On some machines this message pops up during every boot. Obviously hardware depending for other machines don't show the same.
Its just a little annoyance but a annoyance nevertheless.

Anyone know how to stop this (aside of buying a new box  ;D ) ?



Sound btw works well after this..

Try changing the order of the devices in

KDE CC - Multimedia - Phonon

Change the order by highlighting one and using the prefer/defer buttons at the bottom .....  and use the test button to ensure the chose preferred device is functioning.

Then Apply device list to all

That *might* do it  ;)

I moved a few things around and was nearly at the brink of giving up on this machine (quite a few options) at hand but of course it was the LAST option ....  :P
