« on: November 16, 2012, 07:43:34 AM »
"Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has shared his thoughts on the software giant's competitors, with the executive labeling Apple products too expensive and Google's Android too wild due to its openness."

Don't really see a problem with Android.
It runs on a lot of inexpensive low powered devices quite well regardless of which version is used.

Oh wait, maybe that is Microsoft's problem with Android.  ;D

what he says is that is wild

i understand that as in a wild os

it is

google play has lots of surprises, i found one and cost me some money

also piracy is easy on that platform, something controversial but that is becoming a thing of the past with more content online only

android is not alone on this, apple had his own problems and i'm sure windows phone will too

in android can be seen as growing pains but is still a concern

According to analyst firm Gartner, Microsoft's Windows Phone mobile operating system attributes to only 2.4 percent of the smartphones shipped worldwide in 2012's third quarter.

With figures like those I don't consider the Win phone a competitor at all.

it is only a competitor to htc and blackberry

if they don't get enough attention with this one maybe they will try with another but it seems like a dead end for them isn't?
