See it in the corner  ;)

This is how I remember it after my first install (Winter 2006-2007) "Big Daddy." I was hooked.  :)

I wish that I could find my old disks. Is there a link to the default background image? I'd love to have it for nostalgia's sake.  ;D

That was a really great OS, I have still got an iso that I bought from Ondisk, I think.
I do know I can only install it on my oldest computer, and for some reason the repo wont update ;D

Maybe we could bring it back in a retro-living-in-these-times way/style? Bridging then and now in terms of our distro's artwork is an idea we can explore.

This is awesome,, but my first install was in 2009 so that would have been after the pinwheel. But it was before Dobie.   Me thinks.

That would put you on the PC inside a ring.

That was my favourite of the three at that time ......  Minime, Junior and BigDaddy ...... there was also an Xfce version of P3 about June 2006 ......  and Minime had a second release (.93a) to correct some bug or other that I have forgotten.

Yes, I switched from DSLinux to PCLinux .92 after distro hopping surely every major distro and many many minors. Even though PCLinux was still in beta, it out performed everything else I tried. I was very impressed and continue to be impressed that such a small team can produce such a quality distro.

Great forum and magazine!

Thanks for all you do devs and support team.
