self-censorship,
Doing it often here.
Who knows is it good or bad?

When it comes that you and me are talking in the bar it's not good.
But at such a public place like this worldwide known forum... :-\

I can safely say he still had not really warmed to KDE4 and often referred to KDE5 when they might get it 'right' for him  :D :D

Nonetheless he used PCLOS and KDE4 exclusively on his PC ....  no other DE provided his favourite Kim service menu  :D

He had a very low opinion of corporations and the new 'corporatism' which he saw creeping in everywhere.

And there he may well have been right.

R.I.P., Dave!

He was here and in rare form when I joined the forum. I also admit to reading every one of his rants that I came across. Besides having such strong opinions, he was also very helpful to many others here in the forum.

It is with great sadness that I post about the recent death of Dave.

After a short illness of a few days he passed away last Friday/Saturday at his home in Sydney.

Dave was a long time member of the PCLOS family, and for quite a long time kept us amused with his 'raves' .....  sadly he has not been a prolific poster here in recent times.

RIP Dave ......  you will be missed .....

 :( :( :'( :'(

Was he here early on? I think I remember him. RIP.

Very sad. R.I.P. Dave.
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

I'm so sorry to read this.  Exwintech (Dave) has provided me with much appreciated assistance in the past.  A great friend of PCLOS has been lost.  Farewell from a fellow Sydneysider.

I was wondering about a week ago, about him.  Hadn't seen a post from him in a long time.

He and I have/did share PM's and emails.

His posts were a bit long at times.... But that was only because he was passionate about what he believed in.

R.I.P good friend.
