Maybe, you can punt into the right folder (if I am not wrong, it is under /usr/share/icons folder; in this moment i am not using my LXDE version; late I can return here usig it, so I can confirm) the oxygen-cursor-theme folder (that you can download from here: http://lavalon.deviantart.com/art/Oxygen-Cursors-76614092 (it is a 7z file: you must extract the file-content [that's a folder containing sub-folder and icons] and put that fonder [as root] into the /usr/share/icons folder). So, you can re-impost your favourite oxygen cursor theme (I am using everywhere the "oxygen-white cursor theme" because I love it).  :)

Hi Monsee,

thanks, now I am happy with the witheglass cursor theme.

I reported the problem because I did nothing... It was very weird, after a reboot the cursor theme changed itself and now the default cursor theme is missing...

Regards.

Hi! I'm back with one my PCLinuxOS LXDE installation and can confirm that the right phat (for the cursor themes) is:

usr/share/icons

I'm happy that you have back your oxygen-theme cursor.  :) Me to love using the oxygen-white cursor in all my installations.

What DE are you using Aleph? KDE or LXDE?

As were were talking about Oxygen I took KDE for granted.

Sorry, Aleph.
I am using the LXDE in this moment... and my corsor still is the oxygen-white.
Do you have put the oxygen-cursor-themes into the "/usr/share/icons folder"? (as root, obviously)
... and, after that, have you managed to select the oxygen-theme that you like? (there is a program, to select appearance, but you can make it using the "Configure Your LXDesktop" too).

Aguila isn't wrong when he claim the package "kde-workspace-cursor-themes" including the oxygen-cursor-themes, too.
Have you attempt to select the oxygen-cursor-theme you like? (using "Configure Your LXDesktop", for instance...)

One way or the other: it's the same, for result.

How did you get the oxygen cursor theme in the first place?

No problem ...  :)
The other question must could, what is removed from his system...
Aleph look inside your synaptic history, to find out, what was removed...
