If I remember right.  Didn't someone say Old Polack was trying to get up to speed to help with a special project.  Seems like someone had gotten sick and needed a replacement.  Then maybe I just dreamed that.

Mysterious, it had been very flat out putting out the last releases, plus the KDE update workaround. Maybe he's having a rest ?

Last time he was off for a while the social security had not sent his cheque on time and he had to decide what not to pay. Internet was the least painful:

Maybe they're on him again?

Hope he's well.

to print an OP cook book.  ;D

Speculation can lead to a distortion of the facts. Facts of which we know nothing. If I read between the lines in one pertinent post. Someone knows what is up with OP but not at liberty to share. I choose to believe all is well.

There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

I'm patiently optimistic that he will reappear; and I'm keepin' good thoughts in the meantime.  :)

Let's all hope that he's OK, he's resting and he'll be back on the forum soon. And with an amazing experience with a heavy lady to tell to us all.

One thing for sure, the Main PClinuxOS web page is not reflecting the latest magazine release, and that is causing some local lurkers to ask why.......
I understand O-P normally takes care of it, and that causes me to be greatly troubled about him being missing in action. Very much out of character for him.... ??? :(

Please let us put this in perspective. This happened last year. He was fine. We all care about each other here like family.
It is good for us to be concerned but I truly believe if something was wrong that we would know about it.
Neal and OP are running the show. Do you not think if there was something that Neal could share with us , that he would. I do. Let us respect OP's privacy for now.
I only put my 2 cents worth in because I care also about all of you that worry. So take a big breath and let things run their course.

EDIT: Not trying to lecture you all, just trying to ease your minds the best I can.
