Fixing overlapping text in Firefox.
« on: November 10, 2012, 08:45:49 AM »
Have you noticed that when you increase the default font size in Firefox the text overlaps on some sites? Also, the ads on the page obscure some of the text. I discovered that Adblock Plus takes care of most of this problem!

I had a lot of trouble with this problem before I fully recored from my eye surgery and wish I had discovered this sooner.

Results from the web designer using fixed sizes and/or locations for the ads.  Could be avoided if they did everything as relative or as percentages.

But yes, AdBlock Plus is wonderful - one of the first things I install on a new system.

I noticed that even text on YouTube that was cut off looks fine now.

Have to agree on this.  :)
