I've got 1/2 pound patties from Prairie meats.  They are half pork and half beef.  That makes them moister than regular beef patties.

I've got the bacon & the cheese.  This is looking like a nice project.... :) ;D

My daughter tells me there's a place she saw on Man vs. Food where they serve a bacon burger with grilled onions served between two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of a bun...  she described it as a "heart attack on a plate".

Me, I'm getting to the point I'd rather a burger be tasty, properly cooked, and of moderate size. (More than about 5 oz. of meat is a bit much for me in one sitting any more, and I'm a big fella.)

Still... the mental picture of a patty with bacon between two grilled cheese sandwiches is just... wow.

i have watched some chapters of man vs food, some of the things he eats looks delicious and sometimes not that bad for your health but others, well, i remember a sandwich in particular

basically a revolver loaded aiming at your head ready to fire

after a certain point, there is no gain adding more ingredients or more of the same ingredient, you don't enjoy it and you just suffer eating it and then going to the bathroom trying to get rid of that experience  ::)

Needs more bacon, and some raw onion!

Yeah, I would take out one hunk of meat and replace it with a nice slice of raw onion.

What is the point of having a sandwich so thick that you can not take a full bite out of it?

Have you ever tried that and had your jaw lock open?

good point, what is a healthy portion of food?

how much food you should eat in one day, talking in grams or ounces?

2 kilograms?

about water, i was reading that every people should drink 2 liters of water daily, excluding the water on the food, that water counts but not much really, specially if you eat a bread with meat as lunch, not much water in there

For an adult? 200gr. of meat (any meat) a day should suffice; cheese? three slices a day.

I could go on but I think I made the point, many of us over do and pay the price in the long run.

Now, I want a hamburger  ;D

any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

I make my burgers in a George Foreman grill. That way I can use ground chuck. It drains most of the fat out but still retains enough for flavor.
