I just did an install of 2012.8 MiniMe, with existing home folder intact, and noticed that I have no sound in certain YouTube videos.
After a little searching about, it seems that I have been volunteered for their HTML5 test and the sound issue is only with those videos.

I could opt out of the HTML5 test, but I would rather not - I prefer the HTML5 to the Flash version; but mainly because this worked just yesterday
, on the previous install.
Does anyone know what I could be missing for this? Could it be a codec I haven't installed (that I had on the previous installation)?
I picked a couple of videos at random, to illustrate:
Example of HTML5 where I have no sound:
(Edit: Sorry, I had to make this link not-clickable as otherwise it would show up embedded in this page as the old Flash version.)
Ex. of the old Flash version where I have sound:
Of course, I assume that the HTML5 version is only going to be shown for those - like me - that has been 'volunteered' by YouTube for the trial of HTML5.
(If you want to know whether what you are looking at is the newer HTML5, right-click on the video to see the contents menu. The last item is About HTML5.)
Anyway, ideas most welcome.
