Device Notifier not unmounting

I'm able to mount a drive using Device Notifier.  Cannot unmount drive using DN. I am able to unmount via Dolphin.

I'm doing an update now...looks like there's a D-Bus update..maybe this wlil resolve the issue?

Well, I played around with it.  I installed a new DN widget and it gave me the same behavior.  So, I marked the DN in the system tray to always be visible and now it appears to be working properly.

I'll wait a day before I mark this solved just in case it exhibits the problem on reboot.

very strange .......  DN has not been working properly for me these last weeks, but I checked today and it appears to be working properly again .....   ;D

Still wondering...anyone knows of a work-a-round for the "Device Notifier not unmounting" issue?

It's only affected my Lenovo Notebook.  DN on Desktop and Acer laptop work fine.

Mine went back to not functioning properly again shortly after my last post.

Now it mounts partitions, but does not display the mounted icon, and will not unmount the same partition.

Previously it worked properly after removing and replacing the widget ......  now it behaves just as yours does.

can i interest you guys in a device notifier replacement i have been working on?

its called "zuluMount",it should hit the repos at some point or another but for you,can you easily build it from sources. Instructions to install and uninstall it can be found at: http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,110941.0.html

Confirmed.
I can work with removable devices in Dolphin and Krusader, but Device Notifier does not display them mounted.
