links dont open when i click

hi there  im a semi expreienced newbie at linux . i can do quite a bit , but  im trying too open some torrent links , the first one worked , opened ktorrent  just  fine .  but  now  nothing happens    i went too the link clicked properties associated file with ktorrent . seemed ok , but still when i click a link  nothing happens , oh  im using the firefox browser .   any ideas ?  ive been searching for an answer for days  but no luck.

Failing a Firefox solution, you can copy the link and paste it in ktorrent.

This is strange.  KTorrent always opens for me with torrent links.

hello there   ok  i had too go to firefox options and associate both the torrent and magnet links to my torrent program , i chose ktorrent  and now i can click a link and ktorrent opens and downloads the files .    way cool
