I really hate having to ask such basic questions, but I've had an issue (in Linux) long enough to finally suffer the embarrassment of asking.......
When I hit the PC (Start) button, navigate to "Computer", then select "Run Command", I get a small window at the top of the screen to enter the command I want to run. I type in something. I wait - and wait - and wait - and, well, you get the idea. This #^%$@&$ little box just sits there and glares at me !! I cannot tell if it is blowing me off or actually doing something. Maybe I've done something wrong and it won't even tell me that.
How do I get this "Run Command" to actually
DO SOMETHING
Specifically, I typed in
gparted and hit enter, then F1, then tab, then [ctrl] + enter, then [alt] + enter, then [ctrl]+ [alt] + enter. Then I quit entering and began uttering - and you don't want to know what I uttered !
Oh Gods of Linux... please show me the path to righteousness !!
