(Solved) Chromium PDF. Still not working

I thought I had this solved.  Unfortunately, not.  PDFs are simply not displaying in Chromium.  I have the plugin toggled on and marked always visible.  nothing.  My bank statements and other PDFS do not display.  I keep getting the message that the plugin was unable to load.

YES!!!!  that worked!   All is well!  Look!  a PDF in my Chromium browser!!
