<Fixed>Unresponsive After Booting
« on: November 02, 2012, 04:07:15 PM »
Rebooted a couple of times to see if it would help with a minor problem but then I had the problem the desktop would fully load but the OS was unresponsive. When I tried to click the Launch Menu or any desktop icons,  or shortcuts nothing happened. Shifted to to CL using keyboard, shut down and restarted. Same problem. I'd think hardware, maybe mouse, but I'm running on that computer now from USB Remaster with no problems. I reinstalled from this USB Remaster and have the same problem with the new install.

Gave up after third try to reinstall from Remaster without wiping Home partition. Each time the problem was the same. It appeared to install correctly but was unresponsive after booting. I Formatted  the Home partition this time and all works correctly. Apparently something in Home. I strongly suspect KDE. First the config file seemed to reset to basic default. I installed a backup config file but that failed also within a short time.
